Melony is a Mechanical and Robotics Engineer by profession (UCLA ‘09) and obtained her MBA from the University of Cambridge, Judge Business School, UK (‘20). She was part of the early SpaceX engineering team which built the company to where it is today. She contributed significantly to the first successful Falcon rocket launch, the first dragon launch and the first booster landing at SpaceX.
Melony ended her engineering technical career as one of the lead Mechanical engineers for NASA’s Mars Perseverance Rover 2020 designing and manufacturing the Electrical subsystem. She has over a decade of experience in the US aerospace industry as an industry leader and has extensive knowledge and a network span across North America and Europe.
